NASA will conduct an RS-25 engine test on the A-1 Test Stand at the Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. This firing will validate the new nozzle design for the RS-25E variant that will fly on Artemis V onward.

SpaceX performed a static fire of Super Heavy Booster 7 with 31 of its 31 Raptor engines. The test was planned to use all 33 Raptor engines, but one was shut down prior to ignition and another was shut down prematurely during the test.
