/01Ayu Yoneda is a Japanese doctor and JAXA astronaut. She was selected as an astronaut candidate in 2023. Yoneda previously worked at the University of Tokyo Hospital and the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center. Yoneda holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tokyo and completed basic training to become certified as an astronaut in 2024.
